We offer a comprehensive service to collect the deceased from any location and transport them to a mortuary in the UK or anywhere across Europe. Our long-distance private ambulance bariatric deceased repatriation service is reliable and efficient.
We work closely with funeral directors, the Coroner’s Office, police forces, hospitals, and the general public, providing a compassionate service for the collection and removal of deceased individuals.
As bariatric patient movement specialists, we are fully equipped to manage challenging cases. Our ambulances are fitted with winches, and support vehicles are on standby, ready to assist with any necessary equipment identified during the process.

We have crews on standby with the appropriate private ambulance vehicles and training, lifting and movement equipment and consideration with respect, dignity and security in both private and public places.
We are mobilised to carry out difficult extractions with support and experience of difficult and often sensitive requests, often working alongside Fire and Rescue when high access is needed.
Our specially fitted bariatric ambulance is assisted by our ambulance support vehicle, carrying our specialised equipment needed, including bariatric body bags, lifting handles, strops and slides accommodating a person weighing up to 400kg (62.9 stone).

Bariatric Deceased Specialists.
Our bariatric recovery service offers reinforced stretchers, larger body bags, and lifting devices to safely handle and transport bariatric bodies. With extensive experience in managing the physical and logistical challenges of handling larger bodies, we prioritise both safety and dignity in every case. We collaborate closely with the Coroner to define the logistics and work with the Police to ensure a swift, risk-free body removal service.
Our private ambulances are specifically equipped to accommodate the size and weight of the deceased, while also providing adequate space for staff to safely carry out the removal process.
Handling and transporting deceased bariatric bodies requires strict adherence to health and safety regulations. These measures protect our staff and ensure the respectful treatment of the body. We work collaboratively with all agencies, including the Police, Fire and Rescue, and undertakers, to establish a clear action plan and manage any potential challenges that may arise during the process.
We are a regulated service and are available 24/7 and on standby to take your call.
